Spoken By The Sea

Welcome to our Summer event, Spoken By The Sea!

Join us for an evening filled with poetry and prose.

Hosted by Graeme Boseley, the night will feature an open mic session along with special guests Shane Jell and Lawrence Pereira.

Shane has been writing for six years and has been performing his poetry for the past two. In 2024, his first poetry collection, Disturbed Earth, was published by 4:14 Books. A new anthology titled Unfiltered will be released later this year.

Lawrence Pereira released a children's book, "Jasper's Adventures Across the Multiverse," which was nominated for the 2024-2025 Spark Children's Book Award and featured at the 2026 Faversham Literary Festival. Lawrence's poetry focuses on social justice, secularism, and equality.

Whether you're an experienced poet or just starting out, this is the perfect evening to come together and celebrate the power of words.
