Spoken By The Sea

Come one, come all to Spoken by the Sea, an open mic night.

Whether you're a seasoned performer or a first-time poet, we invite you to share your words on the theme of autumn. Not up for sharing? No problem. You're welcome to come along just to listen.

Our headline poet will be EP Jenkins 

EP is is a poet and teacher living in Kent. She studied poetic practice at Royal Holloway, graduating in 2020. Her debut collection Rituals came out in 2022 with Broken Sleep. She's been fortunate enough to publish with Osmosis and Streetcake Magazine, among others. Currently, EP is working with ecology and poetics, hosting workshops over the summer with the Wild About Whitstable campaign.

We'll be providing the space and the support, so all you have to do is show up and be creative. Bring your poems, stories, songs, or anything else that comes to mind.
